Mental Health Awareness Programme

Mental illness can affect our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. In light of this, a comprehensive lecture on mental health awareness was organized by Dr. Harish from the Narcotics Control Bureau and General Hospital, Karnal, on November 18, 2025, under the direction of the Haryana Government. In his opening address, the Principal stated that a healthy mind strengthens a hopeful and positive outlook on life, making it easier to deal with conflicts and problems. Dr. Harish, who came from the General Hospital, Karnal, discussed mental disorders and their recovery in detail. Mr. Pawan, Mr. Gurmeet, and Mr. Subhash, representing the Narcotics Control Bureau, warned students about the causes and factors that contribute to drug addiction and encouraged them to remain drug-free. They also addressed students' concerns. Present on the occasion were Mental Health Committee Director Anju Bala, Dr. Ashu, Dr. Upendra, Dr. Virendra, Dr. Kuldeep Malik, Dr. Jatin, and other members of the college.
